The 12 Decisions of Extraordinary Leadership
Being successful in leadership involves earning (not demanding) the genuine respect of your family and being intentional about achieving extraordinary levels of influence.
Making these 12 leadership decisions and taking disciplined action will put you ahead of the pack.



- I Will Have A Positive Attitude -- An extraordinarily positive attitude will provide increased possibilities for leadership and influence that would otherwise be given to someone outside your immediate family.
- Set & Act on Priorities -- An extraordinary family leader has decided to develop the ability to identify & spend the majority of time doing only those things related to the purpose of earning the genuine admiration and respect of their spouse and children.
- Maximize Health & Fitness -- An extraordinary leader has decided to do whatever it takes to develop and maintain above average health and fitness. This provides the physical energy and well-being to be fully engaged in earning the genuine admiration and respect of their family.
- Value Marriage -- An extraordinary leader has decided to earn respect in marriage first so that they will have a basis of stability and partnership for earning the genuine admiration and respect of their family.
- Value Parenting -- An extraordinary leader has decided that earning the genuine admiration and respect of their children will be a primary measure of leadership success.
- Value Intentional Thinking -- An extraordinary leader has decided to practice intentional and strategic thinking on a regular basis because this provides an advantage in leadership.
- Commit & Hang On Tight -- An extraordinary leader has decided to do "whatever it takes" for "as long as it takes" to earn the genuine admiration and respect of his family.
- Become Wealthy -- An extraordinary leader has decided to accumulate and learn to effectively manage large amounts of financial resources and thus increase the number of options to earn the genuine admiration and respect of his family.
- Be Spiritual -- An extraordinary leader has decided to develop and increase faith in God. This provides context and purpose because He is the author of a story much larger than their own and because this provides context and purpose for extraordinary leadership.
- Value Relationships -- An extraordinary leader has decided to prioritize building solid relationships with other human beings because this provides an outward focus to leadership.
- Be Generous -- An extraordinary leader has decided to be intentionally generous in all things because this provides a sense of significance to leadership.
- Always be Growing -- An extraordinary leader has decided to value consistent personal growth because it provides increased capacity for leadership.
