Foundational Family Leadership Truths
Have you ever wondered why anyone should care about leadership and family?
Why can't we just leave leadership where it belongs -- in the boardrooms of large companies and the backrooms of the Capitol and the White House?
I've chosen to make developing effective leadership skills a priority because I believe in the following truths... - The truth that the real Story of life is much larger than our individual stories and is authored by a God who is both loving and dangerous.
- The truth that mankind is in a very real war good and evil and that the objective in this war is to win the hearts of every human being on earth.
- The truth that the traditional (one man/one woman + children) household is a primary battlefield and training ground in this war for the heart, and should be the primary focus of successful personal growth, effective communication, and intentional leadership development. In my opinion, my marriage and my relationship with my kids is more important than what church or political party I belong to.
My mission? -- Doing whatever it takes to grow my ability to communicate effectively with each my wife and children and to lead or influence them to do the same.
Growing, Communicating, and Leading -- both individually and as a group so that we can protect our hearts and help others to do the same.
