Finding the answers that will improve your ability to lead and your family's willingness to follow
Earning the love and respect of your family demands that you ask and answer some personal relationship questions?
Here's one of my favorite quotes on the importance of this subject.......
"Success or failure in life is essentially a matter of human relationships." It is a matter of the reaction to us by those around us. "If this reaction is favorable we are quite likely to succeed. If the reaction is unfavorable we are doomed" ~~ Robert Woodruff (CEO - Coca-Cola)
Here are some questions that I ask myself on a regular basis regarding my relationships.
How do I see the people in my life?
Am I willing to take responsibility for my relationships?
Do I hurt people or help them?
What skills are needed?
How could I improve my people skills?
What actions could I take to move forward?
How can this improve my marriage?
How can this improve my relationship with my children?
Who do I know that is successful in this?
Who do I know that will support this in my life?
How could this improve my health?
How could this increase my financial resources?
What is the big picture?
What are the possibilities if I improve?
What will I have to give up to improve?
What does God say about this?
How can being physically fit effect this?
How do emotions effect this?
How does this impact other relationships?
How could I change my thinking to improve this?
How would improving this area effect my career?
Asking these questions and journaling the answers has made a huge impact on my ability to connect with people.
