A Quiz

Before we get to the relationships quiz I'd like to share a survival tip for family road trips.
When we used to go "Way far away Grandma's" house, (13 hours at 5 MPH over the official limit) our family would play a memory game called "Picnic". We use the letters of the alphabet to describe items that we would take on a picnic. The first person starts by saying........"I'm going on a Picnic and I'll take an Apple". The second person repeats that phrase and then adds an item starting with "B" and on and on it goes. We sometimes get a little silly with it and by the end of the game we're taking the Green Bay Packers, a Herd of Horses, Ronald McDonald etc......on this picnic.
Crazy?
Yes, but it makes the time go by beautifully and we get to Grandmas in one piece.

What does going on a picnic have to do with a relationships quiz?
Creating a strong family is certainly no picnic but like a trip to Grandma's it can sometimes seem like an endless road trip.
Here's a "Marvinized" combination of the picnic game and a quiz to help prioritize the people you choose to spend time with.
First, the game..........(repeat this phrase as often as necessary)
"I'm building a strong family and I choose to spend time with people who........
Accept that my Family comes first,
have a Biblical worldview,
Challenge me when I get off track,
Dream big,hairy,audacious,dreams,
are Enthusiastic,
have Faith in a story bigger than their own
have specific Goals,

Jump over obstacles,
Keep challenges in perspective,
are Life focused,
Magnify my strengths, but are
Not afraid to confront my weaknesses,
Own their mistakes,
have a Plan for personal growth,
Question popular thinking,
Read widely,
Share my values,
Think,
Use their talents humbly,
have a long term Vision,
Work,
eXpect the best in any situation,
Yell when they're angry,
are a little Zany
Now for the Quiz...
